Biography

Hugó Maszák was a pioneering Hungarian photographer who captured images during a formative period in the history of photography. His work as a photographer documented the visual culture and society of his era with technical skill and artistic sensibility.

Maszák's photographic legacy extended through the late 19th and early 20th centuries until his death in 1916. He was laid to rest at Fiume Road Graveyard, where his memory is preserved among his contemporaries.
