Biography

Humfrey Gale dedicated his life to disciplined military service, guiding young officers and sustaining the morale of those in his command during tumultuous decades. He was respected for his steady leadership, sound judgment, and the quiet compassion he brought when meeting the needs of fellow servicemen.

Upon retirement he continued to support veteran communities and to offer counsel to families, and he now rests in the cemetery of Corsier-sur-Vevey, honored for his steadfast devotion.
