Biography
Ibolya Csák was a dedicated switchboard operator who served her community throughout much of the twentieth century. Her work connecting callers and facilitating communication reflected the essential role telephone operators played in society during an era of expanding telecommunications.
Csák's life spanned nearly a century, from 1915 to 2006, witnessing tremendous technological and social change. She was laid to rest at Farkasréti Cemetery, where her memory is preserved among Budapest's notable residents.
