Biography

Ignát Hořica (1859–1902) was a Czech writer and literary figure who contributed to the cultural life of Prague during the late nineteenth century. Though his life was relatively brief, he participated in the vibrant intellectual and artistic movements of his era.

His literary work and cultural contributions earned him recognition among Prague's intellectual circles. He was honored with burial in Vyšehrad cemetery, reflecting the esteem in which he was held by his contemporaries and the cultural significance of his work.
