Ikarashi Chikusa

Biography

Ikarashi Chikusa (1774–1844) was a person of the late Edo period whose life intersected with the vibrant cultural and social landscape of the era. Though details of his specific occupation remain limited, his existence was part of the broader tapestry of Edo society.

Chikusa lived through a period of significant artistic and intellectual flourishing in Japan. He was interred at Tama Cemetery, a major burial ground that served the growing populations of the Edo region.
