Biography

Composer Ilmari Krohn crafted songs and academic writings that enriched Finland’s musical scholarship, drawing on folklore and contemporary currents to deepen the nation’s cultural repertoire. His work as a musicologist helped preserve and illuminate Finnish musical traditions.
