Biography
Ipirvik, sometimes called All-Weather, was an Inupiaq hunter and guide whose knowledge of the frozen sea and patient diplomacy helped early Arctic expeditions bridge cultures and survive harsh conditions.
He carried himself with quiet courage, remaining tethered to his people while offering valuable perspective to newcomers, and now rests at Starr Burying Ground, leaving behind a legacy of endurance and fellowship.
