Biography
Irena Kowalska-Wuttke was a Polish resistance fighter who courageously opposed Nazi occupation during World War II. Her involvement in the underground movement demonstrated the determination of ordinary Poles to resist tyranny and fight for their nation's freedom.
Kowalska-Wuttke gave her life for her country in 1944, joining countless others who perished in the struggle against occupation. She rests at Powązki Military Cemetery, honored as a patriot who sacrificed everything for Poland's independence.
