Biography
Isaac Breuer was born in 1883 to a family steeped in Jewish learning, and he became a leading figure in Orthodox political thought while studying law in Germany.
He wrote extensively in defense of traditional Jewish values, helping to shape Agudat Yisrael’s positions and later, after moving to Mandate Palestine, he continued to champion communal autonomy and the rights of observant Jews in the nascent Jewish society.
