Isaac K. Funk was a publisher whose firm brought reference works, religious texts, and literature to countless readers. He believed deeply in the power of the printed word to educate and inspire.

Through his publishing house, Funk helped shape American literary life and supported efforts to provide accessible knowledge. His final resting place is at Green-Wood Cemetery.
