Biography
Isaac R. Moores, Jr. followed in his father’s footsteps as an Oregon pioneer, engaging in agriculture and public service to help shape the young state’s institutions.
He served in the legislature when the demands of growth were great and then returned to Salem, where he was buried in Salem Pioneer Cemetery amid the fields and families he cherished.
