Biography
Isidore de Lara was a distinguished British-French composer whose musical compositions contributed to the operatic and concert music traditions of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. His works were performed in major European concert halls and opera houses.
De Lara's career as a composer earned him recognition and respect in musical circles across Europe. He spent his later years in Paris, where he continued composing until his death in 1935 and was laid to rest in Père Lachaise Cemetery.
