Biography
Isidore Dollinger's legal mind and commitment to justice carried him from the Bronx Assembly to the United States House of Representatives, where he served New York from 1949 to 1958. He continued his public service in the judiciary and on local boards, always centering the needs of his community.
Throughout his career he defended working families, promoted fair housing, and encouraged young people to pursue careers in public service; he was laid to rest at Mount Hebron Cemetery after his passing in 2000.
