Biography
István Lipót Gách (1880–1962) was a Hungarian painter who contributed to the visual arts during the early twentieth century. His artistic career spanned the late Austro-Hungarian period through the post-World War II era, a time of significant transformation in Hungarian cultural expression.
Gách's eighty-two years of life allowed him to witness and participate in the evolution of Hungarian painting.
