Biography
Ivan Aleinikov was a Soviet military officer born in 1912 who served during World War II. He represented the millions of Soviet servicemen who fought on the Eastern Front during the conflict that would define the twentieth century.
Aleinikov's service concluded in 1945, and he was laid to rest in Inowrocław, Poland. His burial there reflects the vast movements of peoples and soldiers across Eastern Europe during and after the Second World War.
