Biography

Ivan Astruc was an accomplished Australian rules football player whose athletic talent and dedication to the sport earned him recognition during the formative years of Australian football. His participation in the game contributed to the growing popularity and development of Australian rules football in the late nineteenth century.

Astruc's career in football represented the passion and athleticism that characterized the emerging sporting culture of colonial Australia.
