Biography

Ivan Ivanovitsj Gloedin was a Soviet figure whose life spanned the revolutionary transformation of Russia into the Soviet state. He lived through one of history's most turbulent periods, witnessing the radical restructuring of society and governance.

Gloedin was executed at the Kommunarka shooting ground in 1938 during the Great Purge. Like many of his contemporaries, his life ended in the systematic violence that characterized Stalin's campaign of political terror against perceived enemies of the state.
