Ivan Popper

Biography

Ivan Popper was a young man whose life was lived during the latter part of the 19th century in Brno. Though his years were brief, he was part of the Jewish community that maintained its traditions and cultural life during this period.

Popper's memory is honored in the Jewish cemetery in Brno, where he was laid to rest. His life represents the many young people whose stories are woven into the history of Central European Jewish communities.
