Biography
Ivan Skvortsov-Stepanov was a Russian politician and revolutionary figure who devoted his career to political service during the transformative period of the early 20th century. He was active in Soviet political life and contributed to the development of Soviet institutions during the critical years following the revolution.
Skvortsov-Stepanov's death in 1928 concluded a life spent in service to the revolutionary cause. His burial at the Kremlin Wall Necropolis reflects the high regard in which he was held by Soviet leadership and his recognized contributions to the building of the Soviet state.
