Biography

Ivan Surikov was a Russian poet and literary figure who contributed to the rich tradition of Russian poetry during the 19th century. Born in 1841, he engaged in literary pursuits and helped shape the cultural landscape of his era through his poetic works.

Surikov's poetry reflected the sensibilities and concerns of 19th-century Russian intellectual life. He passed away in 1880 at the relatively young age of 39, leaving behind a body of literary work that contributed to Russian cultural heritage. He was laid to rest at the Pyatnitskoye Cemetery.
