Biography

Ivo Vidmar was born in 1936 and came of age during the post-war period in Central Europe. His life encompassed the Cold War era, the communist period in Czechoslovakia, and the democratic transformation that followed the fall of the Iron Curtain.

Vidmar's life was lived during times of significant historical change and national transformation. He passed away in 2011 at the age of 75, leaving behind memories of a life lived through the latter half of the twentieth century. He was laid to rest at Olšany Cemetery in Prague.
