J. Bevier Sturtevant (1851–1910) was cherished by the Columbia community for his earnestness and steady character. He approached each day with a humble heart and a readiness to help wherever a need was seen.

His thoughtful contributions, however modest, consistently reflected a desire to uplift others. Bevier’s memory continues to encourage a spirit of service and sincere care.
