Biography

J. D. Barnett brought thoughtful care to every task he undertook, whether supporting civic discussion or tending the fields that sustained his family. He believed the best kind of leadership was grounded in listening, and he earned a reputation for fairness across the Santa Rosa community.

He treasured the friendships forged in the lodge and union halls, offering calm counsel to those facing hardship, and he was laid to rest in the Santa Rosa Odd Fellows Cemetery where his memory continues to inspire.
