Biography

Jørgen Moe earned enduring respect as a writer and folklorist whose collaboration with Peter Christen Asbjørnsen preserved the tales and traditions that shaped Norway's cultural heritage.

He continued to serve as a pastor and storyteller until his death in 1882, and he is laid to rest at Vestre Aker cemetery, where many honor his passion for the people and stories of Norway.
