Biography
Jacinto Vera was a prominent Catholic priest and ecclesiastical leader in nineteenth-century Uruguay. As a dedicated member of the clergy, he served with distinction at the Metropolitan Basilica Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception and San Felipe and Santiago, where he played a significant role in the spiritual life of Montevideo's Catholic community.
