Biography

Jacob Abraham was a sculptor whose artistic talents contributed to the visual culture of Berlin during the 18th century. Working in a medium that required both technical skill and creative vision, he produced works that reflected the aesthetic sensibilities of his time and the demands of his patrons.

Abraham lived from 1723 to 1800, a long life that spanned much of the 18th century. He was laid to rest at the Jüdischer Friedhof Berlin-Mitte, where he is remembered as an artist and member of the community.
