Jacob Courtright

Biography

Jacob Courtright, born in 1749, cultivated the soil near Old Clove Church and watched the early republic take shape around him, offering strength to his kin as changes rippled through the countryside.

Today he lies in Old Clove Church Cemetery, and his life stands as one of steadfast stewardship of both land and congregation.
