Biography
Jacob van der Ende (1918–1941) was a young Dutch resistance fighter who gave his life in the early years of Nazi occupation. Despite his youth, he demonstrated exceptional courage in opposing the German forces that had invaded his homeland.
Van der Ende's sacrifice in 1941 stands as a testament to the determination of those who resisted from the beginning of the occupation. He was laid to rest at Emaus Cemetery, honored as one of the earliest martyrs of the Dutch resistance movement.
