Biography
Jacques de Faget de Baure was a French gentleman born in 1755 who lived through the revolutionary transformations of his era. He came of age during the ancien régime and witnessed the dramatic social and political changes that followed.
De Faget de Baure died in 1817 and was laid to rest in Père Lachaise Cemetery. His life encompassed the transition from the old aristocratic order to the new France that emerged from the Revolution and Napoleonic period.
