Jacques Kipman

1926–1944 (age 18)

Biography

Jacques Kipman was a young man whose life was cut tragically short during World War II. He died in 1944, during a period of great upheaval and conflict in Europe, at the age of eighteen.

Though little is recorded of his individual accomplishments, Kipman's brief life and death during the war years are part of the larger historical narrative of France during the Nazi occupation. He is remembered in Cimetière parisien de Bagneux, where he rests among others who lived through that turbulent era.
