Biography

Jakob Friis was a journalist turned politician who used his pen and his voice to advocate for workers' rights and social justice, eventually serving in key government posts where he guided labour and social policy. His clear analysis of economic issues made him a trusted figure within the Labour movement.

He remained a steadfast defender of equality, believing that thoughtful public debate and sound policy could protect the vulnerable and strengthen Norwegian democracy.
