Biography

James Albert Harrison watched his community evolve from the years before the Civil War into the modern era that followed, remaining devoted to his family and the neighbors around him. He pursued the work he could do to keep his household strong and to provide for those in need.

He is commemorated at Oak Grove Cemetery by those who knew him and by descendants who appreciate the dignity with which he met life’s many seasons.
