James Beatty

Biography

James Beatty (1820–1856) was a talented engineer whose career, though brief, demonstrated considerable promise and skill in his field. Working during the height of the Industrial Revolution, he contributed to the technological and infrastructural developments of mid-nineteenth-century Britain.

Beatty's engineering expertise was valued by his contemporaries, and his work reflected the innovative spirit of the Victorian era. His untimely death at age 36 cut short what might have been a distinguished career. He was interred at Kensal Green Cemetery, a final resting place befitting his professional standing.
