James Frank Hopkins

Biography

James Frank Hopkins, born in 1845, remembered lifelong bonds of friendship and fellowship, co-founding the Sigma Chi fraternity while a student at Miami University. He believed deeply in the ideals of honor, integrity, and mutual support, and he worked to sustain those values even amid the turbulence of his era.

After the war, he maintained connections with his fellow members and encouraged younger generations to carry forward the fraternal spirit of service. His dedication to lasting camaraderie is still recalled by the fraternity he helped establish.
