James Fulton

Biography

James Fulton was born in 1824 and died in 1828, his life encompassing only four years. Like many children of the era, particularly in the challenging environment of colonial India, he was vulnerable to the diseases and hardships that claimed so many young lives.

Though his time on earth was brief, James Fulton was given a proper burial in South Park Street Cemetery, where his grave preserves the memory of a child lost too soon in the history of British Calcutta.
