Biography
James H. Kyle, born in 1854, moved to the Dakota Territory and became a passionate advocate for farmers as a Populist Party senator, championing monetary reform, railroad regulation, and the rights of laborers during his decade in the U.S. Senate.
He continued to lend his voice to grassroots causes and to encourage cooperation among citizens before being buried at Riverside Memorial Park.
