James Murphy

Biography

James Murphy (1858–1895) lived a shorter life than many, yet he filled it with generosity, sharing his skills and laughter wherever he went. He had a natural way of encouraging others, especially young neighbors who appreciated his upbeat spirit and willingness to take on hard tasks.

His brightness is still recalled by families who visit Forest Hills Memorial Park, where he now rests.
