Biography

James P. Whyte Jr. devoted his life to legal education, nurturing minds at William & Mary’s Marshall-Wythe School of Law and inspiring students with a deep respect for constitutional principles. His classroom was a place where rigorous thinking met patience, and countless lawyers remember him for both his knowledge and his generosity of spirit.
