Jan Dítě was a figure of the 19th century whose life was rooted in the community of Přelouč. Born in 1818, he lived through the dramatic transformations that reshaped Central European society during his lifetime, witnessing the rise of nationalism and social change.

Dítě's life spanned seven decades of significant historical change. He passed away in 1892 and was laid to rest in the Cemetery in Přelouč, where his grave remains a part of the local community's historical memory and heritage.
