Biography
Jan Dobřenský was a dedicated military officer whose career spanned decades of service to his nation. As a member of the military personnel of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, he witnessed and participated in some of the most significant military events of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, including the upheavals of World War I.
Dobřenský's long life of service culminated in his death in 1919, just as the old imperial order was giving way to new national states. He was honored with burial in the Dobrzenský Family Cemetery, a fitting tribute to his years of military dedication and service to his country.
