Biography

Jan Gilas (1901–1939) was a Polish civil servant who dedicated his career to public service during the interwar period. As a government official, he contributed to the administration and development of the young Polish state.

He is remembered at Unicka Street Cemetery in Lublin, where he was laid to rest following his death in 1939.
