Biography
Jan Hampl was a Czech individual who lived through the dramatic transformations of early 20th-century Europe. Born in 1883, he experienced the transition from imperial rule to the modern Czechoslovak state and the subsequent upheavals of the mid-century period.
Hampl's long life encompassed seven decades of Czech history. He maintained his residence in Prague throughout his years and was ultimately interred in the historic Vinohrady Cemetery, where he remains remembered.
