Biography
Jan Hlaváček (1897–1977) was a Czech individual who lived through one of the most transformative periods in Central European history. Born in the final years of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, he witnessed the creation of the Czechoslovak state and lived through subsequent decades of dramatic political change. He was associated with Prague's Vinohrady district.
