Biography

Jan Janský earned lasting respect for his medical research, particularly his pioneering studies of blood groups that saved countless lives by improving transfusion safety. As a physician, he also offered attentive care to patients, teaching younger colleagues the importance of combining scientific rigor with humanity.

His contributions to medicine and science endure across generations, and he is commemorated with gratitude at Malvazinky Cemetery.
