Biography
Jan Kučera, born in 1838, served as a lawyer known for thoughtful counsel and steady support for integrity in the courtroom. He was admired for listening carefully before advising clients, and he guided many through difficult legal processes with patience and clarity.
Kučera believed that the law served the community best when it was tempered by empathy, and he quietly offered time to civic causes that strengthened civil life. His memory is preserved among the graves of Olšany Cemetery.
