Biography

Jan Kykrych was born in 1889 and lived through one of the most significant periods of transformation in Central European history. His long life witnessed the twilight of the Austro-Hungarian Empire and the establishment and development of the Czechoslovak state.

Kykrych's existence spanned nearly eighty-four years, connecting him to multiple generations and allowing him to see the profound changes that reshaped his homeland. He passed away in 1973 and was interred in Brno Central Cemetery, where his legacy continues to be honored.
