Biography
Jan Ludvík Frič (1863–1897) was a Czech photographer whose artistic vision captured the visual landscape of the late nineteenth century. His work in photography represented the emerging medium's importance in documenting and preserving images of Czech life and culture during a transformative era.
Though Frič's career was brief, ending when he was just thirty-four years old, his photographic legacy contributes to our understanding of the period. He is buried in the Vyšehrad cemetery, where his memory is preserved among Prague's cultural figures.
