Biography

Jan Maximiliaan van Tuyll van Serooskerken (1886–1938) was a member of the Dutch nobility who lived during a period of significant social and political change in the Netherlands. He maintained connections to his ancestral lands and community in the Geldrop region throughout his life.

He was laid to rest in Geldrop Protestant Cemetery, where his memory is preserved among the graves of his contemporaries. His life spanned the final decades of the nineteenth century and the early twentieth century, a time of modernization and transformation in Dutch society.
