Jan Pawłowicz was a Polish entomologist and scientist born in 1910. His work in the study of insects contributed to the advancement of natural sciences in Poland during the interwar period.

Pawłowicz's life was cut short in 1939 at the age of 29. He is buried at Powązki Military Cemetery, where his memory is honored among Poland's distinguished citizens.
