Biography
Jan Perner (1815–1845) was a talented civil engineer whose promising career was cut short by his untimely death at just thirty years of age. Despite his brief life, Perner made contributions to engineering during the early industrial period in Bohemia, a time of significant infrastructure development.
Though his career was limited by his early death, Perner's work as a civil engineer reflected the growing importance of technical expertise in 19th-century society. He was buried in the Central cemetery in Pardubice, where he is remembered as a professional of his era.
